WCMC MISSION STATEMENT:
To create student driven, collaborative art that showcases our collective talent, reinforces our values, and uplifts ourselves and enhances our community.
The Spring 2024 session of the WCMC we created new pieces for the WC Harry Russell 4th grade building, "Once Upon a Time," and a new mural for the High School "ÂżQuĂ© pasa con los sueños de mis padres?", an image arranged from the viewpoint of first generation students at WCHS. New pieces for the Social Justice project of course, and a visit to the Teen Youth Summit put on by the NCCJ.Â
We expanded our reach in the community in the 2024-2025 season celebrating within the school district and with our partners, neighbors, and businesses of the West Carrollton area.
